These boats are slightly enlarge version of Kaan 15 class interceptor boats. Made of composite materials.
The first Boat TCSG-19 was build according to a R&D contract signed between Turkish Coast Guard Command and Yonca-Onuk Shipyard. The prototype was tested in 2006 and final purchase order was be given after the successful termination of the tests.
