The Russian large landing ship 151 Azov left the Black Sea after a long period of absence. this will be the third deployment of this ship in 2014.
The Baltic Fleet warship 110 Kaliningrad, which was very active this year in Syrian Express Operations, is returning to the Baltic Fleet. This explains why her companion Novocharkassk, returned alone from Syrian deployment. She was replaced by Alexander Shabalin.

Thanks for your always interesting news from the Bosporus!
Yesterday, November 28, 2014, passing 102 KALININGRAD south in the Sound on her way “home” to Kaliningrad. It is almost exactly a year since she leaving the Baltic Sea for the Black Sea and the Mediterranean.
The attached picture is taken from Helsingborg, Sweden and you see Helsingor, Denmark in the background. The strait is about 3000 meter wide at this point.
You have the right to use the image as you wish.
