On 13 July 2014 the Russian warship 150 Saratov passed through the Bosphorus on her way to Syria.

P-266 HS Machitis passing through the Dardanelles.

On 13 July 2014 the Greek gunboat P-266 HS Machitis was observed passing through the Dardanelles on her way back home. She took part in the Bulgarian led naval exercise Breeze 2014.

Another warship that left the region after the end of the naval Exercise Breeze 2014 was the US cruiser USS Vella Gulf. Currently only French warship FS Surcouf and the ships of the SNMCMG-2 are in the Black Sea.
