On 1 July I was able to witness the return of the two Russian Baltic Fleet landing ships 102 Kaliningrad and 110 Alexander Shabalin back to the Black Sea from their 10 day trip to the Mediterranean Sea. Both ships were last seen leaving Turkish Straits on 20 June 2013.

The Russian ships look like loaded but of course it is impossible to tell from the outside whether it is cargo or ballast that makes the ships seem so heavy.

So this is the latest tally of Russian warship movements
