Today the Alligator class landing ship Nikolay Filchenkov from the Russian Black Sea Fleet passed through the Bosphorus and entered into the Marmara Sea.

Notice how much of the hull is visible above the waterline. Empty of lightweight cargo?
I think in all the pictures I have seen on Russian ships in bosphorus, southbound ones had less hull below the waterline. Either it is something related to currents, or they are carrying items from south to north.
