On 24 March 2015, the Russian landing ship, Nikolay Filchenkov made her southbound passage through Bosphorus. Later in the evening the French frigate F-710 FS La Fayette made her northbound passage, almost in dark.

On 17 March 2015, the Russian Ropucha class landing ship Azov made her southbound passage through Bosphorus while her sisters Alexander Shabalin and Novocharkassk made their northbound passage through Dardanelles on 19 Mach 2015.

On 21 March 2015, the NATO SNMG-2 task force left the Black Sea. The Turkish contribution to the task force TCG Turgutreis returned to her home port Gölcük as her deployment with the SNMG-2 was up. It is not clear which ship she will be replaced with. The flagship of the SNMG-2 USS Vicksburg headed straight to the Mediterranean while the remaining ships are making a port visit in Istanbul.

On 3 March 2015 in the late evening hours Turkish contribution to NATO SNMG-2 F-241 TCG Turgutreis and the flag ship of the task force, CG-69 USS Vicksburg made their northbound passage through Turkish Straits and entered to the Black Sea.

The duo was followed by the German tanker A-1442 FGS Spessart the following morning. The last two ships of the task force, 337 HMCS Fredericton and F-574 ITS Aliseo joined the rest of the group on 4 March 2015. They made their northbound transit through the Bosphorus just before the sunset.

On 22 February 2015 after spending the last 15 days in the Black Sea, the US Navy destroyer, DDG-67 USS Cole passed through Turkish Straits. She is back in the Mediterranean

And according to news reports, Russian landing ships Yamal and Alexander Shabalin returned to the Black Sea

The Russian Ropucha class large landing ship Novocharkassk made her southbound passage on 15 February 2015. This her first deployment in 2015. She was escorted by Turkish Coast Guard boat SG-25.

The Russian Krivak class frigate Ladny which was supposed to sail on 26 January 2015, made her southbound passage on 7 February 2015. This her first deployment after her overhaul.  Two Ropucha class large landing ships Yamal and Alexander Shablin, passed through Bosphorus later on the same day.

On 8 February 2015 the US Navy destroyer USS Cole made her first Black Sea deployment in 2015.
