Comments:
6 planes have been produced in Turkey for maritime patrol missions. They have replaced the obsolete S-2E Tracker planes. A separate contract was signed with THALES in 2001 for mission equipment. It is unlikely that these planes in their current engine configuration and range, can fulfill the operational requirements of Turkish Navy.
